Great Folk Tale, wonderful Artwork! I love this story of an Ethiopian folk tale. It is wonderfully told and the artwork is a perfect partner. This is a treasure of a book that I my daughter loves to read with me.
Another cultural connection We enjoyed this book from another land. It provided an experience with characters who have courage, truth, and perserverence. I recommend this book!
Great Story I have a biological and an adoptive daughter (from Ethiopia), and they both love this book. Great story and beautiful illustrations. One of our favorites, and we have a lot of books. It’s the only one we’ve ever written a review about.
